By using LyriBase, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Data Storage and Usage

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. By using our service, you consent to:

  • Storing your data in our database
  • Using minimal personal information necessary to operate the application
  • Processing your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

3. Data Control

You have the right to:

  • Delete your account and associated data at any time
  • Request access to your stored data
  • Modify or update your personal information

5. User-Generated Content and Copyright

5.1 Ownership and Originality

You retain full ownership and copyright of any original content you create and upload to LyriBase, including but not limited to music, lyrics, poems, audio recordings, and visual media. LyriBase does not claim any ownership or rights to your original works.

By uploading content, you affirm that:

  • All content uploaded to LyriBase, including but not limited to music, lyrics, recordings, images, or other media, is your original creation.
  • By uploading content, you affirm that you hold the rights to the material and that it does not infringe on the copyrights of others
  • You have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to use and share the content on LyriBase.

5.2 No Use of Copyrighted Material

You may not upload any content that contains copyrighted material you do not own or have created yourself. This includes, but is not limited to, samples, lyrics, music, images, or other media owned by third parties. All uploaded content must be entirely original and created by you. Use of copyrighted material without explicit ownership or proper licensing is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal of content, account suspension, and potential legal consequences.

5.3 Infringement and Consequences

LyriBase has a zero-tolerance policy for copyright infringement. If we receive a valid complaint or determine that uploaded content violates copyright law:

  • The content may be removed without notice
  • Your account may be suspended or terminated
  • We may report violations to relevant authorities or comply with takedown requests under applicable laws (e.g., DMCA)

5.4 Responsibility for Protecting Your Work

Content you share publicly on LyriBase is shared at your own risk. While we do not allow unauthorized use or distribution of user content, we do not provide legal protections or enforce copyright on your behalf. If you wish to protect your work from plagiarism, unauthorized distribution, or other forms of misuse, you are solely responsible for seeking appropriate legal protections, such as registering your copyright or using third-party services that safeguard intellectual property .
